While trolleys and other surprise packages are all the rage at the moment, Lidl has decided to ride the wave of the trend. The brand is now offering mystery boxes with generous contents for just 20 euros!
For several months now, the famous mystery packages have been causing a sensation among consumers. In shopping centers, you can find points of sale where you can get lost packages or even, in supermarkets, mystery shopping carts. For 50, 100 or 120 euros, you can buy them at Auchan, Carrefour or Super U. Like gambling, this concept is based on a delicate balance between excitement and disappointment, as you discover more or less interesting prizes and, above all, hope to get value for your money.
That’s all it took for Lidl, one of the French people’s favorite brands thanks to its attractive prices, quality products and great deals, to follow suit! The company now offers mystery boxes containing an assortment of several of its products for just 20 euros. And, judging by the initial feedback, there are some real gems in there!
Indeed, a few days ago, our English neighbors were able to find 1,000 of these mystery boxes on the brand’s online site. And it goes without saying that they quickly all found buyers, even if it took some determination in the face of the many bugs to get one! Andrew Marshall is one of the lucky ones and decided to share his adventure on his Facebook page.
Inside his box he found a keyboard, headphones, a digital radio, a pizza baking kit, a Parkside fleece jacket, swimming goggles and a wetsuit. Suffice to say he got his money’s worth! Whether he really needed these items is another matter.
You too might be tempted to go to the Lidl website and get your credit card ready to get your hands on one of its mystery boxes and feel the thrill of surprise. Unfortunately, this operation has not yet been extended to France. But, there is no doubt that, given its success, the delivery of these boxes should soon arrive in our countries! In the meantime, don’t be fooled by scams like this!
