Turkish Airlines (THY), which will organize its first flight to Damascus, the capital of Syria, on Thursday, January 23, has published special travel information for passengers on its official website.
CITIZENS OF BOTH COUNTRIES WILL NOT BE ABLE TO ENTER SYRIA
Accordingly, a number of decisions were made by the authorities of the Syrian Arab Republic for passengers traveling to Syria. According to the decision, citizens of all countries except Israeli and Iranian citizens will be able to enter Syria.
SYRIAN CITIZENS WILL SUBMIT DOCUMENTS
Syrian citizens will need to submit a document showing that they are Syrian nationals. Lebanese citizens will be able to enter the country if their parents are Syrian citizens or have a residence permit or visa in another country.
On the other hand, members of the press will also be subject to a special permit.
