Here we go again for the Tour de France! The 2022 edition – the 109e – of this great cycling race started on Friday 1er July from Denmark and will continue for three weeks on the roads of the North, the Vosges, the Jura, the Alps and the Pyrenees to end on Sunday July 24 on the Champs-Élysées, in Paris, as every year. If this great popular event is obviously an unmissable event for cycling fans from all over the world and for sports enthusiasts in general, it is also an opportunity for many to attend a magnificent spectacle while watching the riders the marvelous landscapes of France. And, as every year, you can watch the race on television, thanks to the public service (France Télévisons), the races being broadcast on France 2 (late morning and from 3:00 p.m.) and on France 3 (between 12 55 p.m. and 3 p.m.). But if you do not have access to a television, there are simple and free solutions to enjoy the show in streaming on computer or mobile (phone or tablet).
The most natural way is to use the free video platform france.tv, which offers to follow all the live while offering replay and excerpts. This service is also available on Internet boxes, on connected televisions and on mobiles, with the france.tv application from France Télévisons.

If you don’t want to go through this platform, you can also use an application like Molotov.tv, which broadcasts public service channels on DTT for free – but no longer some private channels, which require a paid subscription. It is also possible to use an Internet service provider (ISP) TV application, such as Oqee from Free, which offers its channels to its Freebox subscribers. If you live in Belgium – another homeland of cycling – you can follow the competition on the free RTBF Auvio platform, which simply requires registration. Other channels and platforms, like Eurosport Player (or Discovery +) or GCN+ also allow streaming of the Tour de France from other countries around the world. But they require a paid subscription.
