Scourgestones are one of the essential resources for any successful adventure in V Rising. However, these small gems are particularly difficult to find. We explain how to do it.
With over a million players in a week, V Rising looks set to take center stage among survival games for a while. The small creation of Stunlock studios (Battlerite) had the effect of a small bomb, a logical status if we take into account its hectic gameplay and its unique identity which quickly aroused the interest of players from all walks of life. If you too have succumbed to the charms of vampires, and you are well on your way to dominating your server, alone or in pvp, you are probably wondering about plague stones. These resources are essential to your progress in the late game and remain very rare. We explain where why and how to find it.
Why look for Blightstones in V Rising?
Blightstones are a key resource in any endgame on V Rising. They are used to forge amulets, potions and, later, high-level weapons. Indeed, plague stones are essential to the creation of dark silver bars, which will allow you to improve your castle and your weapons to the maximum. They are also essential in alchemy, especially for crafting holy resistance potions, which you will need to navigate key areas at the end of the game. In short, between crafting, improving and repairing your equipment, the number of plague stones to find can quickly become quite high. That’s why it’s important to know where to find it quickly.
Where to find Blightstones in V Rising?
If it is possible to manufacture flail stones, it is always more practical to know where and how to find them easily. You can find Scourge Stones in undead infested areas in Dunland Farms and Cursed Forest. If you want to get scourge stones quickly, don’t hesitate to visit theChurch of the Damned and the Ancient Village of the Cursed Forest. Skeleton Bishops, Banshees, Skeleton General, and Chests all have a chance to give you a Scourge Stone.
These two areas are still relatively easy to farm, but the best place to find plague stones is undoubtedly the Dunley Monastery. Indeed, in addition to being able to find large quantities of quartz there, the tombs that populate the building contain many stones of the plague. However, you will need to equip yourself with sacred resistance potions to survey the area in peace. You can get their recipe by killing Cristina the Sun Priestess.
Small size bonus, the quartz that you bring back from each run can be used to to forge other plague stones in your furnaces. All you need to do is kill the V Boss Leandra the Shadow Priestess and follow the unlocked recipe in the oven. Leandra can be found at the Church of the Damned north of Dunley Farms. Once the recipe is unlocked, don’t hesitate to use it to the maximum to obtain many plague stones.
