After more than 20 years, the crime thriller format Navy CIS and its numerous offshoots continue to enjoy great popularity. On Sat.1, the latest episodes of the 21st season were broadcast every Tuesday at prime time.
However, the new crime series has taken over since November 12, 2024 Elsbeth takes over the NCIS slot from 8:15 p.m. We’ll explain to you the reason for the shortened broadcast and when we’ll be able to see new cases from Alden Parker (Gary Cole) and his team of investigators.
Navy CIS season 21 on TV: That’s why there is no episode 11
There are currently no new episodes of NCIS on Sat.1 because Season 21 only had 10 episodes. Due to the double strikes in Hollywood, which shut down numerous TV productions for months last year, the 21st season could only start with a long delay and was the shortest in the history of the crime series.
But NCIS fans can breathe a sigh of relief, because a 22nd season has long been ordered and will again consist of over 20 episodes. The new season has been running in the USA since mid-October 2024 on the TV station CBS. But when will the time finally come in Germany?
When will NCIS season 22 come to Sat.1?
There is currently no specific date for the German TV return of CIS. However, based on the past seasons, it is already possible to estimate when the 22nd season could be shown in Germany.
The last two seasons of NCIS premiered around 4 and 6 months after the US broadcast in this country on Sat.1 and in the stream on Joyn. So season 22 should probably between February and April 2025 on German TV be seen.
