Magnus Wislander and Staffan Olsson. There have hardly been two bigger winners’ skulls. They were both key figures in Bengan Boys, and are still classified as two of handball’s absolute greatest ever. And there was nothing they didn’t do to win. That was also what Svenska Spel knew.
Incredible advertising
There has always been something special about commercials about sports over the years, and the question is whether this classic won’t take the prize. The competition is still fierce, because who can forget, for example, the time Mikael Renberg and Tomas Sandström compared war damage – but were completely speechless when Börje Salming stepped in.
But of all the commercials, this one probably takes the prize. It’s from the classic Bengan Boys era, and the guys are getting ready to go to a banquet. However, Wislander and Olsson have jumped into the sauna – and they had no plans whatsoever to give up on who could sit the longest. The teammates outside have already started to move on, but inside the sauna there are no plans whatsoever to stop.

Refused to give up
Once Staffan Olsson is actually on his way out of the sauna, when the Snake says: “Are you giving up?”, and then the competition was on. Over time, bucket after bucket is thrown at the sauna unit, while the temperature only rises. In addition, they both take the opportunity to sprinkle a little extra salt in the wounds by blowing on each other.
It gets worst when the Snake decides to take out a hair dryer(!) to blow extra hot on his pal. Sports commercials like these are hardly made anymore, and it’s so unbelievably lovely to see two true icons and winning skulls offer themselves so much. Two true icons in a truly legendary commercial. It can hardly be better!
