THE TF1 REPLACEMENT. TF1 has broadcast two new episodes of its series Le Replacant. But when can we expect to see the sequel with JoeyStarr?

The series with JoeyStarr is however back for only two episodes. Starting next week, front page viewers will be able to discover Clem. For the moment, it is not known when a potential sequel will be released. The first two episodes had been broadcast on April 12, 2021: it was therefore necessary to wait almost a year before discovering the continuation of the series with JoeyStarr.
These are the audiences for the launch of the Substitute who had convinced TF1 to continue the fiction on a French teacher like no other: more than 7 million viewers had decided to discover the first episode. As was the case for episodes 3 and 4 on Monday March 21, it will certainly be the audiences that will certainly determine the future of the series. And if the sequel does take place, it seems unlikely that we can discover it before next year, if we rely on the calendar of the first four episodes.
Joey Starr came up with the idea for his character
Joey Starr admits it himself in an interview with TF1: it was he who had the idea for his character. “This idea came to me when I heard on the news that the national education system was short of staff and that the conditions for being able to teach were extended to graduates who just had to complete their training with an internship. I thought that this opened the door. to different teachers. From this premise, was born this intrigue in the school environment around a gruff French teacher with original methods in a high school, who ignores his hierarchy and the administration to help students find their way.

TF1 broadcast the pilot of Substituteconsisting of two episodes, on April 12, 2021. However, Replacing was thought of as a series: the audiences being there during the first burst of broadcasting, the first channel decided to renew the series. On March 21, 2022, viewers of the first channel can discover two new episodes of approximately one hour.
Joey Starr plays Nicolas Valeyre in the series Replacing. It is also the actor who had the idea for this role, as he remembers in an interview with TF1, discovering on the news that the criteria for recruiting teachers were widening. From there, he came up with the idea of this atypical teacher. This is not Joey Starr’s first role on television, since a few weeks before the broadcast of the first two episodes of Le Remplacant, we could see him in the production of TF1 “Gloria”.
