Thomas Wassberg thought that Petter Northug would stand a race.
Then he ended up on the Norwegian’s “hate list”.
– You have to take that, it’s crap, Wassberg told Expressen.
The WC 2015 was a stable championship for Norway, which took home several medals. Among the riders who got to step on the podium were Peter Northug (of course) with. There was a gold medal in the sprint, for example.
Northug’s boot
But despite Northug’s victory, the Swedish skiing icon did not like it Thomas Wassberg that the Norwegian would participate in the sprint relay for Norway.
– He was a little tired during the skiathlon and a third race in a row, I wonder if it works, he said in the program “Wake up with Wassberg”.

The statement made Northug see red. After the sprint relay, which the Norwegian men won, the Norwegian fought back.
– I don’t know what he did as an active player, but apparently he couldn’t run two distances in two days. I become more and more Gunde Swan– damn the more I get, while Wassberg climbs up the hate list, Northug expressed to VG.

Wassberg’s poodle and cock
For Expressen, Northug developed his reasoning.
– They (Thomas Wassberg and Gunde Svan) can do what they want. I get triggered and motivated by it and I hope that Gunde and Wassberg will remember this race for ages. And then maybe they can shift the focus to their own team and give some tips there.

Wassberg couldn’t help but have the last word.
– I was wrong, but the outcome of the whole thing is not yet clear. Northug was fine today, but whether he gets paid for it later, I don’t know. Then you can say I used to go my second race in two days better than the first. You can take it (being on the hate list), it’s shitty, he told Expressen.
