And his nickname “Mr Perfect” is hard to argue against.
But there are some who have tried – such as this American television crew.
Nicklas Lidström has four Stanley Cup titles, and he has been voted the league’s best defenseman a total of seven times. He has also been the team captain for the Detroit Red Wings for six seasons, and is inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame. With this, and a lot of other things, it is not difficult to figure out why “Lidas” got the nickname “Mr Perfect”.
Perfect man
But there are actually those who have tried to break the myth that Lidström would be a perfect person. For example, this local television station from Detroit.

The TV team interviews several players who at the time played with Nicklas Lidström in the Detroit Red Wings, including Henrik Zetterberg and Tomas Holmström. However, the reporters really go to the pump, since all interviewees say that it is difficult to find anything wrong with Nicklas Lidström.
