When the Madmen broke all the rules of football in the absolute strangest match of all time

The craziness is really as beautiful as anything.
One of their best skits was undoubtedly when the group laced up their football boots.
Watch and try not to laugh!

In 1982, the first collaboration with the group that would become Galenskaparna with all of Sweden began. For over 40 years, the group has entertained Sweden with lots of tokeries, and members like Jan Rippe, Claes Eriksson and Anders Eriksson will forever have a given place in the hearts of Swedes.

Real cultists

Most associated is perhaps the group with classic Roy and Roger from the television series Macken, but the group has also made a number of successful revues, plays and songs. But perhaps the most fun is when the group steps into the world of sports.

An absolutely unforgettable and classy favorite is when the group donned shorts, football shirts, football socks and (probably) indoor shoes to play a very special kind of game. The madmen’s match was, of course, without classic rules, and on its own terms.

Beautiful football match

And sure enough, it all went exactly as one would have expected, when the shenanigans in Madness are in full swing. The match has to be among the strangest in history, and it’s really impossible not to smile when you see the fools running around the indoor hall.

Among other things, we get to see an attack where the offensive team scares (!) away the defense, and at the same time one team has a badly injured goalkeeper on crutches. The whole thing is really as funny and clever as can be, just check it out for yourself:
