Freek Kolder was there at the time. He was the owner of restaurant-café ‘De Punt’ which is located right opposite the studio. The Beach Boys came to the cafe daily for a bouncer, a meatball or a sandwich. “Yes, they just came in, just like everyone else,” says Kolder. “They were a little stoned now and then, but otherwise you didn’t notice it much.”
