When Robert Gustafsson was going to give all the skiers a lesson – but just about everything ends in complete disaster: “I ate poo”

Leksand extended the winning streak beat AIK

Robert Gustafsson is truly the king of humor.
And he is at his best when he jokes about sports.
Like the time he gave tips to all the cross-country skiers – and everything went wrong.

Robert Gustafsson is Sweden’s uncrowned king of humor. For several decades, Gustafsson has made the Swedish people laugh, and when he is in his absolute best, there are few – if any – who can measure up.

Classic character Bertil

The sketches and memories are endless, but Gustafsson’s funnest is when he gets to joke about sports. He was a regular part of the TV4 program Time Out’s panel, where he made some of Sweden’s biggest sports profiles fold over with laughter with his decent and wonderful jokes.

Robert Gustafsson can’t just be resourceful, he can take things way too far too, and it’s when he’s at his most exaggerated that he’s at his funniest, if you ask me. And this is the absolute best example of that. For a few years, Robert Gustafsson ran a character named “Bertil”, and for him most things went wrong. He was nervous, thought he could do everything – but the truth was often the exact opposite.

Just about everything goes wrong

Once, Bertil would give tips on how to best optimize a ski trip. He has the drink with him, he has small delicious chocolate treats with him – but soon everything will go very, very wrong. Bertil is supposed to put on sunscreen, but accidentally smears toothpaste all over his face instead. He then discovers that he has dropped some of his treats, but they are actually poop.

Bertil finds it difficult to keep the vomit in his body, and in an attempt to get rid of the disgust, he drinks – but it ends with a bloody drama when glass has ended up in the thermos. Everything ends with a single big roar – and it’s probably safe to assume that “Bertil” will never try a cozy day out in the tracks again.
