There are few winning skulls like Peter Forsberg.
He really did everything to win, like playing with three broken ribs.
– Then you saw how much he is passionate about it, says former teammate Per-Åge Skröder in the podcast “Släpp Sargen”.
He is truly one of Swedish hockey’s all-time greats. Peter Forsberg in his best moments on the ice could really do whatever he wanted on the ice and there were few who could stop his raw power.
Foppa’s career

Broken ribs
To this day, Forsberg regrets that there was never any SM gold with Modo. But he can still be really satisfied with a nice 222 points in 211 games in the Elitserien/SHL and that he gave everything for his favorite team.
– You know how much Modo and Örnsköldsvik mean to him, Skröder says in the podcast “Släpp Sargen” and remembers one match in particular.
– We play down in Rögle and are in a bad place. We are behind and he pretty much turns the game around himself and then afterwards you hear that he has broken three ribs. So he has played through three broken ribs and is then out for 3-4 weeks.

Peter Forsberg is thus playing through the pain of three broken ribs. Just to help his team win, few hockey players can do that.
– He turns that match around just by being mean. And then he is injured after that, so you can see how much he is passionate about it, says Skröder in the hockey podcast.
– It’s absolutely insane. Lyra with three broken ribs and then turn the match yourself. It’s still well done!, replies the presenter Niclas Norlindh.
– He then comes afterwards and says: “Nah, this wasn’t good…”. There are those who get a slap and then: “Uh, thanks for today”. But here you can see how passionate he is about it. A really strong character, says the former teammate.
