She has several championship medals to her credit.
Despite that, André Pops accepted the challenge to face Magdalena Forsberg in biathlon. And the result makes everyone burst out laughing.
Magdalena Forsberg is one of Sweden’s absolute greatest athletes of all time. The Swede has countless WC medals on his track record, but also two Olympic bronze medals in Salt Lake City in 2002.
Incomparable career
Magdalena Forsberg has been highly praised for her efforts on the ski slopes. She has been awarded the prestigious jerring prize a total of four times, which goes to a successful Swedish athlete for the best performance of the year, and has become hugely popular among the Swedish people.
But perhaps the most remarkable thing was that Magdalena Forsberg was noted for an unparalleled 42 (!) World Cup victories when she chose to put the rifle on the shelf after the 2002 season.
Afterwards, she has, among other things, devoted herself to acting as an expert in SVT’s Winter Studio, where she delivered many spot-on analyzes over the years. And as one of Sweden’s most successful biathletes, she has a lot of knowledge to share – which she once tried to transfer to the presenter André Pops directly at the shooting range.
“Looks like Asa-Nisse”
Magdalena Forsberg would quickly learn Pop’s biathlon and then duel against the popular SVT profile. And unsurprisingly, he was thoroughly crushed by the two-time Olympic bronze medalist – and afterwards no one in the studio could stop laughing.
In the studio was also among others the expert Kalle Grenemark, who brought the most elegant girl to André Pops.
– You look like Åsa-Nisse, he says in the studio when André Pops goes onto the embankment to shoot.
