Ingemar Stenmark is not known for being the one who talks the most or takes up the most space.
But of course even he can invite himself sometimes.
Just look here when he pulls a joke at the dinner table in “Master of Masters”.
Ingemar Stenmark is one of Sweden’s most iconic and leading athletes of all time. The big breakthrough came in the mid-1970s, when he took his first World Cup victory in the Italian Madonna di Campiglio in 1974. Then there were – among other things – two Olympic golds and three World Cup golds.

We should also not forget that in recent years he has also won the entertainment program “Let’s Dance” on TV4 and Mästarnas mäster on SVT. Something that further proves what a winner he is.

During his active years, however, “Stenis” did not like being in the center, and a life in the limelight was not something he immediately cheered for. He was not known as a person who took up much space or who talked very much. But if there’s one thing he possesses, it’s humor.

Just take this clip from “Master of Masters” as an example. The participants sit and eat a seemingly quiet dinner – then Ingemar gets Stenmark and decides to pull a joke.

And the joke also seems to hit home, when icons like Peter “Pekka” Lindmark and Anders Limpar can be seen (and for that matter heard) burst into laughter.
