Leksand extended the winning streak beat AIK

Gunde Svan is one of our biggest in Swedish skiing.

Just watch here, as Gunde shakes off the case as if nothing happened.

After his skiing career came to an end, Svan invested in Rallycross for a period, where he actually won a SM gold and an EC bronze in 1995. But Svan is most associated – apart from skiing at the time – with the entertainment program “Fångarna på fortet” on TV4, which he led for many years.

After a long downhill, Gunde Svan fell in a turn, and the Swedish nightmare appeared to be a reality. But Svan had made up his mind. He quickly shook off the fall, kept his cool, and when he crossed the finish line, he did so as an Olympic gold medalist despite the fade in the track.
