Stephen King has earned and maintained his reputation as a master of horror for decades. Although he also writes in other genres, he is particularly known for his horror novels. His connection with the genre does not seem to be limited to literature. After all, Not a few horror classics inspired by his works and adapted. Stephen King reveals himself to be a fan of a horror film for which he did not write the book
King has commented on current films and series in two tweets on the site X (formerly Twitter). The film in question is the slasher horror In a Violent Nature. The Canadian horror film is not yet in cinemas in Germany shown. Capelight Pictures has already secured the rights. Stephen King spoke very positively about the film on his X-Account:
IN A VIOLENT NATURE: If you need a slasher movie, this is it. It’s slow-paced, almost languid, but when the blood flows, it flows in buckets. The killer in his mask looks like the world’s most terrifying Minion.
Also the The first reviews of the slasher were positive. The film has a score of 78 percent on Rotten Tomatoes and 68 percent on Metacritic. So King is not entirely alone in his opinion.

Brutal horror hype may not make it to Germany uncut
In the story of director Chris Nash’s film, a speechless, zombie-like killer wearing a disturbing mask sneaks through the forests of Ontario, stalking a group of teenagers. The film is supposed to follow the scary serial killer most of the time and also show all the scenes that happen between the crude set pieces.
Since In a Violent Nature contains some extremely graphic killing sequences, it is still questionable whether the horror film will be released uncut in this country. More information will surely follow in the near future.
