Your conversations on WhatsApp will take a new turn. Rather than having to respond to the messages you receive by punctuating your missives with emojis, the instant messaging application will soon allow you to display your reaction directly under the messages concerned. WhatsApp has announced that it wants to deploy its reaction system in the form of emojis in all conversations, as it already exists on Facebook.
Officially, the reactions to the messages were revealed during the announcement of the arrival of the new tool for Communities, on which WhatsApp has just lifted the veil and which should arrive by the end of the year within of a new tab in the application.

But contrary to what one might imagine, reactions to messages will not be reserved only for users of WhatsApp communities. They will also be available in classic conversations when they are deployed in the Community section of the application.

In any case, this was confirmed by a spokesperson for Meta to journalists from The Verge. For now, these reactions in the form of emojis will allow you to like, show your love, show your hilarity, show your astonishment or your sadness or even show your agreement with a “High Five”, and this with different shades of skin colors.
