Admittedly, for a few years, we could modify the wallpaper of the discussions, but the option integrated into this latest version of the application goes further. In addition to being able to change the background, WhatsApp now allows you to personalize the colors of the messages of messages. This small graphic detail, although subtle, adds a touch of originality to each discussion.
We can now choose from around thirty predefined themes., With a wide range of colors and patterns, adapting to everyone’s aesthetic preferences. For those who want to go further, it is possible to combine a wallpaper of the personal gallery with the modification of discussion bubbles. In addition, the themes can be applied in a global or individual way for certain specific conversations.
Note that the changes are only visible by the user who applies them. Thus, group discussions or individual conversations are not affected for other participants. This makes it possible to maintain a certain coherence in the exchanges while letting each express their personal style without impacting their interlocutors.
Whatsapp themes: general personalization or by discussion
The activation of these new customization options is simple.
- Open WhatsApp and press the small buttons with the three vertical points.
- In the displayed menu, press Parameters. In the list that appears, select DiscussionsThen Default discussion theme.
- The screen then displays a gallery of ready -to -use themes. Touch the one you are interested in to select it.
- The theme is then displayed in an overview of (fictitious) discussion. - To personalize a special discussion, open it and press the three vertical points (on Android) or on his name (on iOS)/, then select Discussion theme In the menu that takes place.
