It has happened to many of you. You’ve probably been a victim of endless scrolling to find an Unread message or search for a conversation on WhatsApp. Finally, the developer team came up with a solution to this problem. WhatsApp message filtering brings the system.
WhatsApp message filtering feature is coming
The new design, shared by WABetaInfo in a screenshot of the new version 2.23.14.17, shows three filters at the top of users’ chat lists. These filters seem to be aimed at helping users quickly skim through unread messages, find personal chats instantly, or jump straight into business discussions without wasting precious time scrolling through a crowded chat list.

For now, the WhatsApp message filtering feature seems to be being developed for one-on-one personal chats. Given that a significant number of users rely on WhatsApp for group interactions, a dedicated filter dedicated to group chats is yet to appear.
WABetaInfoIf you examine the image published in , three different filters appear as unread, personal and business. This may mean that we can tag some of our messages. Who knows, maybe the next step could be filtering our messages according to our own tags.

This new filtering feature is still in development and is not available in the current version. It will probably be added with the next update of the app.
