WhatsApp’s new privacy option “My Contacts Except…” replaced “Everyone” next to “My Contacts” and “Nobody”. Users started using the new option. WhatsApp, on its official website, “Your last seen time, profile photo, information about me, or status update is visible to people in your phone book, except those you exclude.” explained what “My Contacts Except…” means.
WhatsApp’s new privacy option “My Contacts Except…” will allow to hide profile photo, last status, about and last seen information from some contacts in the contacts. Thus, you will have the opportunity to hide some of your information from the people you want.

By following WhatsApp>Settings>Account>Privacy, you can reach the “My Contacts Except…” option, and after selecting the contacts you want, you can hide some of your information from them.
