The main foods to avoid are:
- spicy dishes,
- fries,
- raw vegetables,
- dried beans and fava beans,
- fatty meats (such as pork or mutton, offal and charcuterie),
- fatty fish (such as salmon, herring, tuna, and canned foods containing oil)
- cabbage: cauliflower, broccoli.
- caffeinated beverages and tea,
- alcoholic or non-alcoholic soft drinks,
- alcohol except red wine (to be consumed in moderation)
- laxatives should be avoided so as not to irritate the intestinal mucosa.
