PROVINCE OF UTRECHT – How can you do something about the many stray cats in the province in an animal-friendly way? Municipalities, provinces, scientists and other experts are discussing this today at a national stray cat conference in Woerden. The province of Utrecht decided a few years ago to stop killing the stray cats. Instead of shooting some 400 cats each year, they are now captured, spayed and sometimes relocated.
