Hogwarts Legacy has been available for a few hours on Xbox Series and PS5, while PC players are patiently waiting to experience this unprecedented adventure.

The game garners excellent ratings in specialized media, praised for its high-end graphics, its obvious love for the Harry Potter franchise and the quality of its gameplay. At the moment, console players can discover the game’s early access, while Steam and Epic Games players are taking their troubles patiently before tonight. We take stock of all the dates and times of Hogwarts Legacy releases on PS5, Xbox Series and PC.
If Playstation 5 and Xbox Series X|S players can already enjoy full access to the Hogwarts Legacy game, provided they have purchased the Deluxe Edition of the game, PC players still have to wait a few hours before to be able to discover the new titles of Avalanche and Warner Games. It is this Tuesday at 7 p.m. French time that we will be able to launch keyboard and mouse in hand into the fantastic universe of this adventure hailed by the media and the specialized press.

For all other players, those with the Standard edition of the game, the release of Hogwarts Legacy is scheduled for Friday, February 10. Once again, the release on consoles and pc of the new title from Avalanche Software has different times depending on your platform. Console players will be able to discover the game for the first time on the night of Thursday to Friday at midnight precisely, while PC players will have to wait an additional 7 p.m. to play it on Friday 10 at 7 p.m. Paris time.

To play Hogwarts Legacy in early access, you will need to own the Deluxe or Collector version of the game. In addition to cosmetic advantages, this version slightly more expensive than that of the basic game promises you 72 hours of early access to the game Concretely, it is the players having the Deluxe version who will be able to begin to discover Hogwarts Legacy from Tuesday February 7 at midnight. It will not have escaped you that Hogwarts Legacy has not one, nor two, but three different release dates. The game will first appear on PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X|S, before arriving on PS4 and Xbox One in early April and Nintendo Switch in late July. On all the platforms mentioned, there is a Deluxe version and a Collector’s version of the game which both promise early access to the game upon release. However, if the release of the game on PS4 and Xbox One is in doubt, which implies that the existence of early access to the game on these platforms is possible, the release of Hogwarts Legacy on Switch is extremely doubtful. In any case, Warner Games and Avalanche Software will have to find ways to adapt the ambition of their RPG to the capabilities of the small hybrid console.
