What time does the Lord of the Rings series start?

One of the biggest fantasy highlights of the year is just around the corner with The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power. Many franchise fans will want to see the series launch fresh from the oven. But when exactly does the Amazon epic start?

Amazon’s Lord of the Rings series starts in the middle of the night

Amazon Prime Video has now broken this down in more detail on Twitter.

According to the news, the series will start on September 1, 2022 at 9 p.m. Eastern Time, which roughly applies to the east coast of the United States. Accordingly, viewers in the UK will have the first episodes at 2am on September 2nd. In this country, the Lord of the Rings series on September 2, 2022 at 3 a.m celebrate their debut.

And with a double bang, because at the start two overly long episodes will be released. In the coming weeks will a new episode every Friday at 6 a.m come to us. The first season consists of 8 episodes in total. The season finale will take place on October 14, 2022.

Contrary to the first rumours, this length seems almost moderate. Initially, the first season was supposed to consist of up to 20 episodes. The framework could possibly change in the future. Five seasons are planned.
