While France carried out this Tuesday (July 4, 2023) a 4th repatriation operation in 1 year, RFI gives the floor to professionals who take care of children returning from Syria in Seine-Saint-Denis. This department of Ile-de-France, entry point for returnees via Roissy airport, has long been the only one to take care of these minors.
Since the end of 2016, 99 children have been monitored by child protection actors in 93, who have developed a support protocol that is now being followed in other departments.
