Tensions in the Assembly. During a question session with the government, rebellious MP Sébastien Delogu attacked Macronist MP Aurore Berger who was speaking out on anti-Semitic violence.
The question session with the government was already rather tense. The intervention of Macronist MP Aurore Bergé did not help anything. While she spoke of the anti-Semitic violence in Amsterdam, not without directly criticizing the behavior of certain melonchonists, the rebellious camp rose up to retaliate. Among the reactions, that of LFI deputy Sébastien Delogu did not go unnoticed.
“You are going to end up in the trash, the trash of History!” then launched the parliamentarian at the address of the former Minister of Solidarity, as the editors of the National Assembly were able to record in their report of the session. And Sébastien Delogu added towards the Macronist camp: “What’s the matter?” Words in any case very different from those reported by some, according to whom the deputy said: “You are a big piece of trash!” Comments that the main interested party formally denies having made to our colleagues at Figaro.

“Where is our common humanity when deputies who sit here place targets behind the backs of our Jewish compatriots?” declared Aurore Bergé a few seconds earlier, referring to the tweet published this weekend by the rebellious Marie Mesmeur and in which she said about the violence that occurred last Thursday on the sidelines of a football match between Ajax Amsterdam and Maccabi Tel-Aviv, in the Netherlands: “These people were not lynched because they were Jewish, but because they were racist and supported genocide [la guerre à Gaza ndlr.].” Comments since reported by the Minister of Interior, Bruno Retailleau himself, to the Paris prosecutor for “apology of crime”.
