At the age of 28, Fabienne suffered a heart attack and fell into an “elsewhere”, a sort of life after death…
Fabienne is 28 years old and is a nuclear engineer. Victim of a heart attack, she loses consciousness. She then joins “another world” and is enveloped in a beyond filled with love, kindness and wisdom… Before returning to Earth, in her body, 15 years later, Fabienne confides in her near-death experience (EMI).
“Everything happens on February 10, 2004. I am training at my workplace. I am standing, surrounded by my colleagues. Suddenly I feel nauseous and I start to sweat profusely. I want to go to the bathroom to throw up. I don’t really understand what’s happening to me. My limbs tremble, my body becomes stiff as a board, my eyes roll back. I lose consciousness and fall on my back, head back hitting a table“From that moment on, the young woman feels completely elsewhere. She tells herself that she is dead and does not find it scary.”I feel like I’m in “another dimension” I know it might sound crazy but I find myself in a white, soft, beautiful and luminous space, which no longer has limits. I am in an extremely powerful state of love and feeling. I feel good”. In front of her: silhouettes of men and women who welcome her, arranged in an arc. “I have this “coming home” feeling. I know I’m not on Earth. These sensations have nothing to do with anything I have experienced before. This moment of fullness and bliss is reassuring and soothing“. Everything is heightened tenfold and at the same time, she has the impression that everything is very concrete and of being hyper lucid. She feels alive, in an augmented reality, much richer and more powerful than what we experience on a daily basis. “I hear music that envelops me. It’s incredibly beautiful and pure music that I’ve never heard in my life and is unlike any other music. I want to stay because I’m so happy here“. But that’s not what was planned. She comes back “to life”, in her bodily envelope. According to her colleagues, she remains unconscious for less than a minute. Fabienne has no concept of time No unit of time seems to exist in this other world. There is a feeling of eternity.
“I have information coming to me from this other world”
Fabienne is perpetually on a quest for understanding from a scientific point of view. She wants to understand what really happened on February 10, 2004. She does research in books. One of them catches his eye. It is a work by Rémy Chauvin, a biologist, entomologist and professor emeritus at the Sorbonne. Someone who is extremely serious and interested in paranormal phenomena, those that are not yet explained by science – and life after death. “I find his approach interesting because he treats these phenomena from the scientific side. We are now more than a year after my NDE. Fifteen days later, I spoke about what happened to me to a work colleague, a chemical engineer. I feel confident with her. She is very open to my story and suggests that I contact her grandfather who is very interested in these subjects. She writes down her contact details on a post-it. When she hands it to me, I see the name “Rémy Chauvin” written on the paper. I am speechless, because I did not know that my colleague was his granddaughter“, says Fabienne.
And since her heart attack, she multiply these kinds of coincidences. This is what we scientifically call synchronicities or concordances of meaning. “And it makes me realize that from now on, I am no longer the same. I have information coming to me from this other world and I have more and more intuition. It’s as if there was a huge field of information all around me and my consciousness was able to connect to it. I consider my brain as a TV receiver or a radio that picks up all the frequencies and can thus collect other altered states of consciousness. But in my opinion, everyone has the ability to go beyond the mind and connect to something greater than themselves. Except that sometimes it takes a violent emotional shock to open awareness, as was the case for me with my heart attack.“. To illustrate what she has become, Fabienne likes to say that before, she was at the bottom of a funnel, with a very small diameter of perception of things, and that now, she has reached a larger diameter, in contact with another reality…
“There is something more that exists”
This near-death experience turns his whole life, his convictions, and his beliefs upside down. “I’m afraid of sounding like a crazy person, but intimately, I know that everything is true. For me, there is something that exists beyond what we perceive with our 5 senses. And that thought completely changed my worldview. The worldview of someone so Cartesian, rational and who believed in nothing. This NDE was an electric shock for me, which changed the course of my life. For 5 years, I have retrained as a sophrologist and I practice energy treatments. I now do a job linked to the “invisible”. During sessions, I sometimes have images that resonate with people. However, I do not claim to be a “medium”. So, is it intuition? I don’t know yet. At night, I have premonitory dreams. However, I do not control them and I do not seek to do clairvoyance, predict the future or communicate with the dead.”
Sucked into a white tunnel
Most people who have experienced an NDE describe three stages: first, an exit from the body where the person sees himself floating above his body, secondly he feels sucked into a white tunnel and bright. Then finally, she finds herself in an immaculate place where she is welcomed by the deceased. These dead people sometimes tell him “Now is not the time, we must go back to Earth” and set a sort of limit for him that he must not cross. It’s a bit as if we were experiencing a kind of demonstration and preview of what would be after death. “I only experienced the third stage: I arrived in a fraction of a second in another world, a white, soft and luminous space.
“There are thousands of people experiencing this”
And Professor Rémy Chauvin told me at the time “Mademoiselle, rest assured there are thousands of people experiencing this. But unfortunately, it is something that is little studied, especially in France.” And in fact, you can’t imagine the number of people, including doctors, who write to me telling me that this happened to them and that they never dared to talk about it.” France is the country of Descartes. We are very rational and we always need proof. Supernatural phenomena are often perceived as charlatanism or hallucinations. We are very judgmental, we are often very closed and we always tend to find scientific explanations to brush aside these phenomena. “In my opinion, we need to get away from this materialist dogma and place the tangible at the heart of our life because we realize that in the infinitely small, everything is just vibration and energy. And quantum physics proves that to us“.
