The entire Diane de Poitiers series (two 105-minute episodes) is broadcast on the second channel from 9:10 p.m. this Monday, November 7, 2022. After an episode of Captain Marleau, the French actress returns to television to play the king’s favorite Henry II. There followed rivalries within the court and various royal machinations to bring out this mysterious figure in the history of France.
In the casting of the France 2 series, Isabella Adjani gives the reply to Hugo Becker (I promise you), Samuel Labarthe (The Little Murders of Agatha Christie), Virginie Ledoyen, Jeanne Balibar, Gérard Depardieu or Guillaume Gallienne. Josée Dayan signs the production of this mini-series.
