The “password child” theory, also called “passworld child” in English, was thought up by influencer Alex Griswold and his wife Melissa. Together, they shared in video on their Tiktok account (@alexgriswold) their theory, consisting of knowing precisely who is the password child in a family. The principle is quite simple: according to them, a child password is the one whose parents use the first name for their passwords on their mobile applications, or on TV to access Netflix or Amazon Prime for example. To take the test at home, simply log in to one of your parents’ accounts and enter your first name or that of your brother or sister. If your first name is used as the password, it would mean that you are your parents’ “favorite” child!

After being viewed more than a million times, Alex Groswold’s Tiktok video provoked the reaction of many users, who pointed out the limits of this test. Because of course, this theory of the password child is in reality only an interpretation, and the answer obtained can have different explanations.
