In Sweden, the vaccination pass has been in place since 1er December for gatherings of more than 100 people indoors. In the Czech Republic, the vaccination pass is required to enter a restaurant, a hotel or a museum, since November 18. The rule is the same in Malta, Austria or Latvia. In Romania, the health pass and the vaccination pass co-exist. The health pass is no longer sufficient for certain activities or to escape the curfew from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. In the same vein, in Greece, you can have your meal in a restaurant with a health pass in Terrace while you need the vaccine pass to enter the establishment.

What are the conditions to be met to have a valid health pass?

At the start of the implementation of the health pass, it was necessary to have:

  • either a complete vaccination schedule including two doses : the pass was valid 7 days after the second dose. People who have contracted Covid-19 only needed one dose;
  • either a vaccination schedule comprising a single dose: the pass was valid 28 days after the single dose;
  • either proof of a negative test of less than 24 h (initially less than 72 h): test RT-PCR and antigenic, self-tests performed under the supervision of a pharmacist;
  • either a RT-PCR test or antigenic positive evidence of infection with SARS-CoV-2 at least 11 days old and less than 6 months old.

Between January 15, 2022 and February 15, 2022, the health pass is no longer valid from 7 months after the vaccination initial. A booster dose is needed to prolong the pass. From February 15, 2022, this period is reduced to 4 months.

What are the conditions to be fulfilled to have a valid vaccination pass?

The big difference between the health pass and the vaccination pass lies in the fact that it will no longer be possible to obtain a pass with a negative test less than 24 hours. You must:

  • either be vaccinated or being vaccinated with one of the vaccines approved in France;
  • either have been infected less than 6 months ago and be cured of the Covid-19 disease.

Can an identity check be carried out during the pass control?

To date, the identity of the person presenting the health pass should not be checked, even in case of doubt. The idea, raised to avoid the circulation of false health passes, gained ground and this measure was adopted: cafetiers, restaurateurs and managers of establishments open to the public will be able to carry out identity checks themselves if they have some “ serious reasons »To think that there is fraud on the vaccination pass.

What are the places where the health pass and the vaccination pass apply?

the health pass has been in force in France since July 21, 2021. Initially, it was compulsory only to access leisure and cultural places (performance halls, amusement parks, concert halls, festivals, sports halls, games rooms, libraries, cinemas).
