On social networks, Dominique Farrugia said he was the victim of discrimination by an airline hostess. The latter reacted.

“Live my life as a PRM”. It is with these words that actor Dominique Farrugia shared a discriminatory experience at Orly airport, this Thursday, October 24. Dominique Farrugia’s message caused a strong reaction on social networks, in particular the journalist and host Guillaume Durand, who is himself sick with cancer as he was able to announce a few weeks ago: “It’s atrocious. My matter is different but it also triggers disgusting silent humiliations,” he commented.

For its part, the airline Transavia reacted by ensuring that they were carrying out “an internal investigation”. “We are sorry for the abnormal situation that occurred this morning which does not reflect our values. Transavia reminds that it ensures the good reception of people with reduced mobility through a dedicated service at the time of booking and close coordination with airport teams for reception on the day of travel.

Dominique Farrugia has multiple sclerosis, a disease that occurs when the immune system attacks the brain and spinal cord. He has been testifying on this subject during awareness campaigns for several years. He also wrote a book about his illness, entitled She never left mein 2022.
