What is a Mobile Signature and How to Create it

Today’s technology is developing itself day by day, especially in the digital field, there are many advantages of technology. Among these advantages, mobile signature takes its place.

Mobile signature allows you to securely perform your electronic signature transaction as a wet signature using a mobile phone and GSM SIM card (in accordance with the Electronic Signature Law No. 5070 and the relevant legislation).

It is a useful feature that you can do your work remotely without the need for paper and pen. However, if you use a mobile signature via e-Government, no fee is charged, but if you use it via GSM operators, you have to pay a fee.

If we come to the question of how to create a mobile signature; Mobile electronic signature is a service offered to users by GSM operators. Mobile signature subscription consists of three stages.

How to Get Mobile Signature?

  • You must select a GSM operator of your choice.
  • Apply for mobile signature with your identity card.
  • Then check if the card you are using is compatible.
  • Select your mobile signature service package.
  • Wait for a mobile signature to be assigned to your name.

Pre-application, Application and Activation. You can obtain all kinds of information by contacting the customer services of Turkcell, Türk Telekom or Vodafone, which provides this service. The institutions where the mobile signature is valid are as follows;

  • e-Government
  • e-Municipality
  • Social security applications
  • eCommerce
  • Internet banking
  • In personal and corporate transactions related to finance

It is possible to use mobile signatures in places such as;

  • Turkcell – 10 liras
  • Turkish telecom – 4.95 TL
  • Vodafone – 5 Turkish liras
