22-year-old Tom T., a friend of Leslie and Kevin, was taken into custody on Tuesday, February 28. Since the disappearance of the couple, he had already expressed himself several times to the investigators.

Three months after the couple gave no sign of life, a man was arrested in Vendée on Tuesday, February 28, 2023 in the morning, before being taken into custody. This is Tom T., the friend with whom Leslie and Kevin were to sleep the night of their disappearance, just after their “blanquette de veau” evening organized close by, at another relative’s, a certain Nicolas R.. Due to his position as host of the couple on the evening of November 25, 2022, Tom T. has already had the opportunity to deliver his version of the facts on several occasions, whether to investigators or to the media.
Thus on January 5, during a citizen fight, Tom T. spoke to the Parisian on the night Kevin and Leslie disappeared. “We met at 5:30 p.m. to prepare their clothes, it was agreed like that. We chatted with friends, as usual”, confided the one who claims to have then taken the direction of a “techno evening under a bridge “, which was held the same evening, around La Crèche, around 6:30 p.m. Tom T. claimed to have “spent the night there”. What about the rest of his schedule? Always at Parisianhe confided that “the next day, [il était] in Parthenay for another techno evening”. And to add: “I went home on Sunday to go to the hospital. I had a blood clot in my leg, it went up to my heart, it caused phlebitis.”
A first version slightly modified later
always according to The Parisian, Tom T. subsequently slightly changed his first version. He thus clarified that he went, initially, to his brother, just after leaving Kevin and Leslie. Then, having then been to an “apéro-sound” organized in a small committee, reports the daily. After which, he would have made a “lightning passage” at … Nicolas R., the same one with whom Leslie and Kevin spent the evening. At Le Parisien, he said he went to the famous “blanquette de veau” evening around 7:30 p.m.
It is therefore a priori only after this “lightning passage” at Nicolas R. that Tom T. would have taken the direction of his techno evening from which he would not have moved, having consumed a “cardboard of LSD” on the spot. “I stayed sleeping in a friend’s truck, it was more careful”, he assured at the beginning of February to the Parisian. However, Tom T. regularly exchanged text messages with Leslie. Around 2:30 a.m., he notably asked the young woman if the couple was still at the party, which was the case. “I wanted to spend some time with them that night”, he justified himself to the daily, specifying that it was the last time that Kevin and Leslie were to sleep at his house, the couple then having to put down his suitcases permanently in Niort, with Kevin’s father.
