La Brea means “the pitch” in Spanish. This is a reference to “La Brea Tar Pits”, a deposit of fossils dating back several millennia in the heart of Los Angeles, in which thousands of animals found themselves trapped during the prehistoric era.
In the cast of La Breawe find Natalie Zea (Very Bad Cops, The gray damsel) as Eve Harris, while Eoin Macken (Merlin) performer Gavin Harris. The cast is completed by actors Chiké Okonkwo (Being Mary Jane), Zyra Gorecki, Jack Martin and even Nicholas Gonzalez (good doctor). The 10 episodes of the series will be broadcast on Wednesdays on TF1, before being put online on Salto and MyTF1 in streaming replay.
Synopsis – A sinkhole mysteriously appears beneath Los Angeles. This is a portal that sends those who fall into it 10,000 years into the past. A mother and her son find themselves in this past and must survive while reuniting with the rest of their family.
