In reaction to these revelations, Me Calvin Job, one of the lawyers for Martinez Zogo’s beneficiaries, declared to RFI that “ this autopsy brings to light the martyrdom suffered by Martinez “. “ His executioners, he continued, left him no chance of survival “.
For this lawyer, Martinez died as a result of these acts of torture. This is also what the report says, which in its conclusions suggests that the death occurred because of the numerous violence suffered.
Me Ndoumou Paul, who is part of the advice of businessman Jean-Pierre Amougou Belinga, sees in this report elements which make it possible to attest to the hypothesis in circulation of a second commando. It is this commando which, following the first which carried out the kidnapping and the first acts of torture on the journalist, would have taken care of assassinating him. A line of investigation that the new investigating judge is currently pursuing, he says. The argument that supports this hypothesis is also drawn from this autopsy report which suggests that “ the location of the discovery of the body is a secondary crime scene “.
