With WoW: Dragonflight, the professions were completely overhauled. Crafters can once again craft powerful gear and customize it in many different ways. The so-called decorations are also new. MeinMMO explains to you what it’s all about.

How do the adjustments work? In WoW: Dragonflight you can use optional reagents to adjust various properties of crafted items.

For example, you can increase the item level of a manufactured armor or adjust its secondary values. Depending on which and how many materials and reagents you use, the item level can be increased in increments from 270 to item level 280!

You can adjust the secondary stats of crafted equipment using so-called “Draconic Writs”. These disks guarantee that the item will be crafted with the desired combination of secondary stats. The “Draconian Writs”, in turn, can be crafted by Inscriptionists and traded by players.

What are embellishments? The so-called decorations are in principle also optional reagents. But other than just leveling up items or swapping secondary stats, adornments allow you to add a handful of unique effects to your crafted items.

You can either add embellishments yourself during the crafting process, have other crafters add them for you, or incorporate them later via an order. It is important to note that you can equip a maximum of 2 decorated items at the same time.

There are also some items that are inherently decorated. These also count towards the maximum of 2 that you can create at the same time. In the next section we will reveal which decorations are available in detail.

All decorations of the various professions in the overview

In this section you will find all the decorations that you can use during the crafting process to add unique effects to your gear. We’ve made a note of the specific profession that can create the enchantment, as well as their individual effects.

alchemy

Potion Absorption Inhibitor – Increases the effect duration of Dragon Island potions by 50 percent. You can add the decoration to any slot.

engineering

Magazine with healing darts – Using your heals will occasionally fire a healing dart. You can add this adornment to any slot.

leather processing

Fang Adornments – Physical attacks occasionally deal bonus physical damage. You can add this adornment to your weapons.

Poisonous armor patch – Infuses the item with the Essence of Decay. You can add this adornment to your armor items.

Blacksmithing

armor spikes – Provide your armor with thick spikes. You can add this adornment to your armor items.

Tailoring

Bronzed grip wraps – Your spells occasionally cause a ripple in time. You can add this adornment to your weapons.

Blue silk lining – Mastery is granted when health is above 90%. You can add this adornment to your armor items.

  • Choker of Shielding – Grants you a shield that absorbs 3228 damage for each gem socketed for 10 seconds.

  • Weathered Explorer’s Staff – Chance to increase your haste rating by 308 for 10 seconds.
  • Witherroot Tome – Your nature spells have a chance to deal additional damage over time and reduce your target’s movement speed by 30% for 10 seconds.
  • Hearthfire Shield – When you take damage, you have a chance to increase your Versatility by 64 for 15 seconds.

  • Enraged Legwraps of Probability – After suffering a loss of control, your haste rating increases by 106 for 10 seconds. This effect can only occur once every 30 seconds.
  • Furious binding of the gesture – Decreases the duration of crowd control effects by 5%.
  • Kapuze of urgent time – Damaging an enemy increases your haste rating by 37 for 10 seconds. Stacks up to 5 times.
  • Chronocloth Sash / Chronocloth Leggings / Chronocloth Gloves – 2-piece bonus, chance to increase your haste rating
  • Blue dragon soles – Every 2 seconds you are in motion, your Intellect increases by 37. Stacks up to 5 times. When you cast a spell, you consume all accumulated stacks.
  • Azureweave Slippers / Azureweave Cloak / Azureweave Robe – When you deal damage you have a chance to increase your intelligence for 8 seconds. Your healing spells have a chance to reduce the cost of your spells for 8 seconds.
  • Timeshift Ally Wristguards – Your spells have a chance to grant 43 Versatility to you and 4 allies within 30 yards.
  • Amica of the Blue – Chance to cause an arcane explosion at your target’s location, dealing 2540 damage to enemies.

  • Poison Thorn Footwraps – Decreases your Stamina by 11. Grants a chance to shoot thorns at your target, healing you and your allies and damaging your enemies. Effects are increased by 100% when you equip an item crafted with a Poisonous Armor Patch.
  • String of Spiritual Knick-knacks / Wristbands of the Old Spirit / Snowball Maker – 2-piece bonus, chance to deal extra damage to your opponents or heal you and your allies.
  • blaze hood – Inflicts 208 Fire damage to enemies in battle every 3 seconds.
  • Slimy Ejection Boots – Decreases your haste rating by 18. Chance of inflicting 700 Nature damage on your target. Effects are increased by 100% when you equip an item crafted with a Poisonous Armor Patch.
  • Enraged Ghost Hood – You deal 1% more damage to enemy players for 5 seconds after being attacked.
  • Enraged Footwraps of Amends – Decreases the duration of crowd control effects by 5%.
  • Heartwarming Ally Fur Jacket – Your spells have a chance to grant 43 Versatility to you and 4 allies within 30 yards.

    • Heavy armor

  • Sansok Khan’s Ally Legguards – Your spells have a chance to grant 43 Versatility to you and 4 allies within 30 yards.
  • Acid Hail Treads – Your movement speed is reduced by 10%. Grants you a chance to deal an additional 700 Frost damage to your enemies. Effects are increased by 100% when you equip an item crafted with a Poisonous Armor Patch.
  • Ancestor’s Dripper / Wind Spirit’s Lasso / Handguards of the Scale Reins – Critical Damage and Critical Healing have a chance to increase your haste rating for 10 seconds. This effect stacks up to 5 times.
  • Enraged Boots of Sparing – Decreases the duration of crowd control effects by 5%.
  • Enraged Mail Helmguard – Whenever a player character is killed in a radius around you, you gain 212 Versatility for 10 seconds.
  • Venom-oozing Stomps – Chance to decrease your lowest secondary stat by 53 and increase your highest secondary stat by 105 for 10 seconds.

  • Ally Breastplate of Magnanimity – Your spells have a chance to grant 43 Versatility to you and 4 allies within 30 yards.
  • Ally Wristguards of Fellowship – Grants you 8 Versatility for each ally within 30 yards. Stackable up to 4 times.
  • Enraged Warboots of Impunity – Decreases the duration of crowd control effects by 5%.
  • Enraged Helm of Vengeance – Enemies that damage you will sometimes take 1616 Physical damage over 6 seconds.
  • Unstable Frostfire Belt – Chance to deal 1164 Frostfire damage to your opponents over 10 seconds. When an enemy dies under this effect, they leave behind sleet that lasts 8 seconds and slows enemies by 50%.

    This list includes all items that already have an adornment. You can’t add any more adornment to them, and they count toward the maximum of two adorned items you can equip.

    Decorated items are a great way to further tweak your damage or healing. They are particularly worthwhile for equipment slots in which no tier set items can be equipped. Keep this in mind if you’re thinking about crafting or crafting an ornate item.
