In September, the House of Representatives will vote on which issues are controversial. If matters in agricultural policy are declared controversial, decisions may not be taken again until there is a new cabinet and it may take a long time before the provinces receive money to make the countryside future-proof. “I hope they will take a look, what can we do? Because nature cannot wait a year until there is a new cabinet. The provinces have worked hard with farmers, nature organizations and residents to make the plans. Now we hope also that we can get started quickly and provide clarity.”
