This slideshow will explain it to you. But you can already quickly learn what these types of eruptions and therefore volcanoes are. On the one hand, there are effusive eruptions (or lavas), also called “Hawaiian type eruptions” and, on the other hand, the explosive eruptions which are classified into different types as follows:
