EASTER HOLIDAYS. Spring vacation started on April 9 for schoolchildren in zone B. Their classmates in zone A are on vacation on April 16, just before the long Easter weekend. Finally, students in zone C will be on vacation from April 23.
What are the dates of the Easter holidays according to the zones?
This year, Easter holidaysalso called the Spring Break, take place between April 9 and May 9, 2022 according to the school zones A, B or C:
- The children are on vacation from April 16 to Monday May 2 in zone A (Besançon, Bordeaux, Clermont-Ferrand, Dijon, Grenoble, Limoges, Lyon, Poitiers)
- Zone B students (Aix-Marseille, Amiens, Caen, Lille, Nacy-Metz, Nantes, Nices, Orléans-Tours, Reims, Rennes, Rouen, Strasbourg) have been on vacation since April 9 and will return to school on Monday April 25
- Zone C students (Paris, Créteil, Versailles, Montpellier, Toulouse) are the last to go on vacation: they will be on vacation from Saturday April 23 to Monday May 9, 2022.

Success internships during spring break?
Success courses. Holidays can also allow students in difficulty or who need to revise to regain their self-confidence. This is the objective of the success courses offered during one of the two weeks of vacation to pupils in elementary schools, colleges and high schools. They are offered in small groups of five or six maximum at the rate of three or four weekly modules, lasting two hours each. “The objective of these internships is to maintain the students’ link with the school and regular learning times, in particular in French and mathematics in the first degree, and in the disciplines subject to examinations in the 3rd year, 1ère and Terminale for all routes“, specifies the website of the Ministry of National Education. These success courses are offered to families by a teacher of the student and are on a voluntary basis.
