Charlotte Barris: Sea heat waves… In this episode, we’re going to talk about the climate. I called on one of the journalists from L’Express who specializes in this: Valentin Ehkirch. Hello Valentine!
Valentin Ehkirch : Hi Charlotte!
Charlotte Baris : Valentin, I know that we speak of a heat wave when it is very hot day and night for at least three days in a row. I imagine that there are also criteria for defining a sea heat wave.
Valentin Ehkirch : Yes, we also have a precise definition. There’s a sea heat wave right now in the Atlantic. Off the coasts of Ireland and the UK, deviations from normal reached 4 to 5°C higher.
