A showcase of modern architecture, the West Bay district concentrates the most beautiful glass and steel creations in Qatar. You can see the Doha Tower, a metallic lace cylinder by Jean Nouvel; the Tornado Tower, whose hyperboloid silhouette represents a whirlpool; or the twin towers of the West Bay Lagoon Plaza, 143 m high, affectionately nicknamed “zig zag towers”.
