Dijs set a time of 1:45.01 minutes in Heerenveen. His opponent in the stage, Patrick Roest, set the fastest time with 1.44.55 and thus captured the Dutch title. He stayed ahead of Thomas Krol and Kjeld Nuis. Those two will go with Roest to the World Cup, which will be organized in Heerenveen from 2-5 March.
