After Marvel recently announced a Blade reboot with Mahershala Ali in the lead role, this prospect initially seemed to have been written off. However, a new rumor is now stirring up hope again – and could bring the actor back in his iconic role this year.

Reliable industry insider Daniel Richtman claims to have learned that Wesley Snipes will return to the MCU as Blade and even do so already signed have. While it is currently unclear in which film Snipes will appear as Blade, that could even be the case this year.

Because in Deadpool & Wolverine As is well known, there will be alternative versions of various Marvel heroes. This would be a fitting opportunity for Snipes to return when he replaces Ali in the role from 2025. Furthermore, a return in Avengers 6: Secret Wars would be possible or even possible in the Blade film itselfthis should also be designed as a multiverse film.

When is the Blade reboot coming to cinemas?

According to the current status, the Blade reboot is scheduled for November 5, 2025 move into German cinemas.
