One of the most classic products associated with Sweden is Kalle’s caviar. The Swedish caviar tube has been in many households since 1954.

Already the following year, in 1955, they began to market themselves according to the motto “Everyone is childishly fond of Kalles” and during the first year a whole million tubes were sold in Sweden, the company writes on its homepage.

In 2001, the first news came when a light variant of the caviar was launched under the name “Kalles light”.

In the years that followed, a series of other novelties were launched on the market, from “Kalle’s striped” and “Kalle’s spotted” to “Kalle’s chives” and “Kalle’s vegan”.

The big question is just whether this is really a product that Kalle’s caviar’s owner, the Norwegian company Orkla, really launched?

SVT News has dug into the matter and in an interview the person behind the viral clip reveals what is actually true.

– If you have good source criticism, if you have a developed muscle for which sources you listen to and what you take in, then maybe you can see this and understand that it is not true, says Tiktokaren Mikael Johansson to SVT and adds:

– At the same time, I have made an effort to make this very believable. So it’s a scam. It’s a joke. It’s a prank or prank or whatever you want to call it.
