Harvey Weinstein’s lawyers have demanded that the trial be resumed, but are now rejected by the court. Weinstein’s team has argued that several errors were made during the trial and that the jury that convicted him was not impartial.
But now the Court of Appeal is determining the sentence. At the same time, Weinstein has moved to Los Angeles, where new charges are pending.
One of them concerns the photo model Lauren Young, who claims that Weinstein raped her at a hotel in Beverly Hills in 2013. Another of the women is an Italian model and the other three have not gone public with their identities.
