After today’s update in Destiny 2, players can start the new week with the most popular PvP mode. Lord Saladin returns to the tower for the last time in Season 19 and pits his cubs against each other in the Iron Banner. MeinMMO also tells you what else is rotating in the loot shooter content.
This is happening this week: Wardens will once again be able to experience fun fights by any means necessary for a special zone in Iron Banner this week. The fun Stronghold mode returns, inviting you to complete the final Iron Banner Triumphs in Season 19.
How to play Iron Banner Stronghold mode? In Fortress, your goal as a team is to capture and hold zones. However, the necessary sharpness within the matches comes up when “Caiatl” interferes in the iron banner. Your Drop Pods will send out three turrets, activating a special zone. This gives you more points.
So the team that can hold that special zone for as long as possible has a better chance of winning. You can play Fortress until February 7th at 6 p.m. and find out the quickest way to turn such a protective titanium bubble into kindling.
You also get this:
Increased base reputation earned per match
Increased multiplier for equipping Iron Banner armor or ornaments and an equipped Iron Banner emblem
As well as a reduced multiplier of Iron Banner challenges
If you’re not interested in Iron Banner, here’s what else we’ve got to play in Destiny 2 this week.
Destiny 2 also today unveiled a brand new trailer for its upcoming DLC, Lightfall, which you can check out here:

The “Disunity SR4” scout rifle awaits you as a twilight loot. In the “Leader” difficulty level, the weapons are also available as a master version with better values.

The Singe modifier stays with you throughout the week, the others change daily.
Endgame: Raid challenges and dungeon rotation
This is what happens in the Raid “Königfall”:
In the current raid “Königsfall” it’s “fingers off” when the last challenge is running:
In the Hands Off challenge, players may not kill the same ogre and knight more than once. So you have to think carefully about what you want to kill, because neither of your team can defeat the same Lighteater Ogre and Lighteater Knight more than once.
This restriction applies to the entire encounter and also includes the two ogres that spawn during the final fight. But despite these limitations, you must quickly kill both the ogre and the knight.
The following raid requirements and challenges await you:
In Normal mode, completing a challenge earns you double the loot.
You only get status-specific armor and master weapons from the grandmaster raid.
You can also earn the new Oryx-themed raid-exclusive Exotic cosmetics in Grandmaster.
Additional Legacy Pinnacle Rewards from Endgame:
The Vex say “Hello” and invite you to the “Glass Chamber” for legacy raiding.
Play the 30 Year Bungie Dungeon “Drawn in Greed” for more pinnacle loot.
Destiny 2: Chamber of Glass now lures the best raiders with hard mode and stronger weapons
Crucible – This is the rotating PvP activity:
No radar, all weapons do more damage – that means dynamic control is active again. In this mode, some catalysts can be optimally leveled and you can also use them to complete a week 4 seasonal challenge.
Playlist bonus this week:
The Vanguard is in a generous spirit this week, granting you a bonus to Vanguard Ranks.
Bungie also announced that Destiny 2’s Gambit mode reputation has increased significantly by the end of the current Season 19. So you’ll be able to earn more reputation there as well, and you’ll be able to do so permanently until February 28, when Lightfall launches.
