Yo-ho-ho!The first week of Season 18 in Destiny 2 has ended and the Guardians have started hiring Eliksni Pirates for their crew. While the Drifter goes about his old ways in his new bar, Keepers can collect another relic this week. But before that, MeinMMO will give you an update on the new weekly challenges.
This is happening this week: After today’s weekly reset, the guardians and their crew are embarking on a new expedition to another destination in Destiny 2. The next relic of the antiquary must be found before Eramis grabs it and brings it to darkness and the witness.
While the guardians hunt for treasure, the vagabond enjoys a couple of bottles full of rum in his new bar and also gives you an extra bonus on the reputation rank in the Gambit chilled.
Lord Shaxx’s plan is to return the still young Rift mode, which you should now test and examine in the Crucible.
And in the throne world, “The Blade of Light” awaits you, so you can show the final boss Alak-Hul that he’s not the only one who can do something with Arkus 3.0 and also dust off his top loot.

Vanguard: Dawn – The Crucible
The Lightbladein Savathun’s throne world Players will battle the “Lightblade” in the Dusk Strike this week. He is considered to be Oryx’s potential successor and when he is angry, he can achieve a decent speed. Defeat him before he uses the light for the wrong purposes.

Endgame: Raid challenges and dungeon rotation
That happens in the raid “The student’s oath“:
Complete the easiest challenge in the final encounter of the Vow of the Apprentice raid named this week “Loop Catalyst”. To complete the challenge, your team must maintain at least one stack of the Siphoning Power buff prior to the damage phase on Rhulk.
As a reward for completing the challenge in the final leg of the Grandmaster Raid, this week’s Grandmaster Raid has a chance at a master version of the Lubraes Ruin Glaive weapon, Insidious Pulse Rifle, or Forbearance Grenade Launcher. But keep in mind that hard and normal mode share the loot.
In the “Garden of Salvation” you can create a unique statue.
You get additional top rewards from the endgame:
In the Vex Raid “Garden of Salvation” on the moon.
As well as in the dungeon “Pit of Heresy” also on the moon.
Weekly Activities
With Season 18, new activities have also come into play, which turn the keepers into pirates.
Ketch Crash: Engage in ship-to-ship combat to stop Eramis and her band of pirates from wreaking havoc across the galaxy in this new 6-player activity.
Expedition: Compile treasure maps, search for treasure and return to your ship while fending off enemy pirate crews.
Pirate Hideouts: Fight your way through weekly missions and loot powerful relics hidden in the pirate lords’ lairs.
Explore old pirate hideouts in season 18 and steal their treasure.
Savathun’s Throne World – Weekly campaign mission

In the Witch Queen campaign mission, on a tip from Fynch, you search the dark corners of Savathun’s throne world for another clue to how she stole the light.

Sources of pinnacle loot in Destiny 2 Season 18
This is the new max level: In the new season of raiders, the maximum power level of your gear is 1,580. This means that the power level at the start of the new Season 18 has increased by +10 compared to the previous Season 17. All players receive the base base power level of 1,350.
How to get free loot: For all new and old Guardians who would like to play in the future or after a break, Bungie has prepared “The Gift of the Thunder Gods” in Season 18.
You can claim this Loot Chest for free in the HELM after completing the New Light campaign. It takes you to a power level of up to 1540 or more – with arc armor and weapons, as well as two exotic and ten legendary items. You can also pick up the rewards once for all your characters.
