Today marks the start of the final week of Destiny 2 Season 18. However, there is one final story detail that could come into play this week. Before that, MeinMMO tells you what else is going on in the game this week.

This is happening this week: In the current season 18 there is one last cinematic highlight – the story epilogue. The last details will probably be revealed there and more information about Nezarek, one of the most mysterious characters in the Destiny universe, will come to light.

In addition to the new story details, the guardians are currently also plagued by the general season burnout. It’s not just the well-known routine in the game and the predictability of the season model that bother them. Annoying game errors and the currently difficult state of PvP are also critical at the moment. All of this has resulted in the lowest player numbers to date.

Vanguard: Dawn – The Crucible

    • This week’s Dusk Weapon: As a reward for your run, you always get a special twilight weapon.

    Earn the Bound by Duty Auto Rifle this week.

    • Endgame: Raid challenges and dungeon rotation

    This happens in the Raid “Königfall”:

    In the current raid “Königsfall” you have to face the first raid challenge to get more loot.

  • Specifically, to complete the “The Grass Is Always Greener” challenge, after taking a side from the buff and discarding your points, you must switch sides. This means that if you first gave up the witch, the knight and your points on the left side of the totem, you move to the right side and do the same procedure there.

    • The following raid requirements and challenges await you:

  • In Normal mode, completing a challenge earns you double the loot.
  • The requirement of each encounter for grandmasters is power level 1600 with champions.
  • You only get status-specific armor and master weapons from the grandmaster raid.
  • You can also earn the new Oryx-themed raid-exclusive Exotic cosmetics in Grandmaster.

    • Additional Legacy Pinnacle Rewards from Endgame:

  • Make your way carefully into the Apprentice’s Oath raid.
  • Play the Prophecy dungeon for more top loot.

    • Weekly Activities

    In Season 18, Guardians can collect cryptic quatrains and complete seasonal content as a pirate with their own crew. This includes:

  • Ketch Crash: Engage in ship-to-ship combat to stop Eramis and her band of pirates from wreaking havoc across the galaxy in this new 6-player activity. Here you can earn top loot once a week on grandmasters.
  • Expedition: Compile treasure maps, search for treasure and return to your ship while fending off enemy pirate crews.
  • Pirate Hideouts: Fight your way through weekly missions and loot powerful relics hidden in the pirate lords’ lairs.
    • The final chapter of The Witch Queen begins December 6th with Season 19.

    In addition to Season 18, the current DLC from “The Witch Queen” is still active and can be played. For example in the weekly repeatable campaign mission. There, too, you can earn top loot to get to the current max power level of 1580.

    Savathun’s Throne World – Weekly campaign mission

  • “The last chance”
  • This week, you can play Witch Queen’s seventh campaign mission as a repeatable story mission. It’s about following the trusted source of Eris, who informs you about an artifact in the Throne World that may hold the answer to how Savathun attained the Light.

  • This week the loot cash register rings three times. There are bonus reputation ranks in both Gambit, Vanguard, and Crucible.

  • Petra Venj can now be found in the dreaming city right at the spawn point – as always for the 2nd curse week. At the same time, the 6th Ascendant Challenge is active.

    • How to get free loot: For all new and old Guardians who would like to play in the future or after a break, Bungie has prepared the “Gift of the Thunder Gods” in Season 18.

    You can claim this Loot Chest for free in the HELM after completing the New Light campaign. It takes you to a power level of up to 1540 or more – with arc armor and weapons, as well as two exotic and ten legendary items. You can also pick up the rewards once for all your characters.
