A new week starts in Destiny 2 and we give you an overview of the content and events that await you in the coming days. We also have a very fiery announcement to make: Iron Banner is returning this week.
This is happening this week: The Iron Banner, a popular seasonal PvP event in Destiny 2, makes its Season 22 debut this week.
Lord Saladin’s wolves call upon all brave Wardens to join the intense battles of the Iron Banner. There are also a few fresh rewards to be earned in the new season that come with an Iron Banner theme:
The Stag Antler Archer Precision Bow from the Cassoid Forge.
In addition, the Strang Scout Rifle “The Leading Visor”, which has a high penetration power.
What mode is active in Iron Banner? For those who like to know in advance what to expect in order to get these weapons, you should play Iron Banner in the “Fortress” mode. If that doesn’t appeal to you, then we recommend waiting for the second Iron Banner on October 10th. There you can shine in the tried and true mode “Control”.
Iron Banner is a great opportunity to show off your skills in the Crucible and compete with other Guardians at a comfortable level.
In addition to the iron fight in PvP, it is also the first week of the Crota raid. The Wardens want the Worlds First contest mode back because it was really fun.
The most important information about activities from 05. to 12.09.
dusk
Season 22 has full battlefield power in the twilight as all three battlefields are in rotation. This should really put your builds to the test. On September 12th, Destiny 2 officially kicks off the PvE endgame with the Apex Dawns.
This week, however, you must first confront Crota’s daughter and scale Scarlet Fortress.
The Scarlet Fortresson the moon
Hashladun, daughter of Crota, designed the Red Hive Bulwark to harness the energies of the pyramid buried in the abyss below. You are to drive them out of their refuge in Strike and further thin out the descendants of Oryx.

Crucible – This is the rotating PvP activity
In the second week of the season, the two modes Conflict and Team Seared will run in PvP.
Endgame: Raid challenges and rotations
Farmable endgame in weekly rotation: Legacy rotations await as the endgame progresses.
Both the rotation raid, the rotation dungeon and the exotic rotation missions are farmable. That means you can complete the individual encounters again and again to get different items and complete your collection. Including any Exotics available in that content.
The weekly Legacy Raid is Deepstone Crypt with the Eyes of Tomorrow weapon exotic
In addition, there is extra pinnacle loot and the exo “Xenophage” in the dungeon “Pit of Heresy”.
The weekly Exo mission is “Operation Seraph’s Shield” with the Exotic “Revision Zero”.
Weekly Activities
Season 22 offers new challenges for the Guardians and a card deck that supports them on their missions with buffs and advantages. As long as they unlock everything and build their deck appropriately.
Altars of Summoning: Make offerings to the Witch Queen in the otherworldly prison to summon hideous foes, defeat her, and gain her power.
There are three levels of difficulty that you can activate. So if you activate “Mighty”, the highest level of difficulty with three swords, you will also work up a sweat.
Pillar of Savathûn: Start the pillar, defeat its overseers, and gain access to the Altars of Summoning.
Void Crystals have a barrier around them, protecting nearby enemies. The barrier must be entered and the crystal destroyed from within.
Solar crystals burn when picked up and must be transported to a separate part of the arena.
Arc Crystals grant the Crystalline Charge charge buff in melee combat. Dormant Arc Crystals must be awakened with a “Transmission Melee”.

This mission reveals more information about the CloudArk for the Guardians to discover. Rohan therefore sends you to the reactor of the network and infrastructure of Neomuna.

All sources for pinnacle loot in Destiny 2 Season 22
More power level comes automatically: The power level will also be suspended in Season 22. meaning the hard power level cap in Destiny 2 remains unchanged at 1810. So no player is forced to perform at their best every week, but automatically levels up the artefact level in all activities.
There are still tough challenges, even without an increase in power level. For example in Grandmaster Raids, Frontrunner Dawns, Grandmaster Lost Sectors or Trials of Osiris. A high artefact level is an advantage and necessary here.
However, if you are not currently at the hard cap of 1,810, we have listed the best sources for top loot here for you.
